What is not covered by the Koala warranty?Updated a month ago
While we stand by our quality, there are some specific instances that fall outside our warranty coverage. The following are not covered by the Koala Warranty:
Normal wear and tear: This includes minor pilling, puddling, fading, stains, discoloration, and the normal softening of the product over time.
Natural characteristics: Natural traits of materials, such as the shedding of some natural fibers.
Environmental factors: Damage caused by factors outside of Koala’s control, such as excessive moisture, heat, or cold that leads to mold or impaired function.
Outdoor use: Damage occurring when products designed for indoor use are stored or used in an outdoor environment.
Minor settling: Changes or settling in foam or cushioning layers that result in visible or unseen indentations of less than 25 mm.
Material variations: Natural variations in colors, timber grain and features, minor gaps in plywood edges, variation in batch dyes, weaving processes, and odors.
Improper use or maintenance: Damage caused by improper use (such as pet damage), cleaning, maintenance, treatment, storage, or your own acts and omissions.
Modifications: Damage caused by alterations or modifications, or if the product is used in an abnormal manner not for its intended purpose.
Third-party products: Damage caused by a third-party product, such as another retailer’s bed bases or mattresses.
Commercial use: Any products used for commercial purposes.
"As-is" products: Any products sold as seconds, returns, or similar, or where a defect was drawn to your attention before purchase.
Incidental damage: Any consequential or incidental damage.
